Run. Yoga. Meditate. Repeat. Yesterday I completed my first (and the world’s only) mindful triathlon alongside some amazing company. For those of you who don’t know, Wanderlust 108 is an all-day celebration of the mindful movement in partnership with Adidas. Our day started with a peaceful 5K fueled by the brand with the three stripes on the sands of Santa Monica beach. The day was all about the journey, so whether you walked, ran, or skipped through the 5K it didn’t matter. All you needed to do was cross that finish line.
In between events, there were booths and more on the iconic Santa Monica Pier all with the purpose of helping festival goers live their best lives. It was amazing to see so many people come together for the betterment of their wellbeing and others. Whether it was a yoga session with Chelsey Korus or Joanna Harper’s meditation, the most important thing I learned from the day was to just go with the flow. Life comes at you fast and if you don’t take a pause to turn it all off how are you supposed to ever find a peace of your mind?
Find your true north at a Wanderlust 108 in a city near you. You don’t have to be a master yogi or fitness guru to attend this festival.
It’s truly a celebration for all.
Thank you Adidas for an amazing event and @rayp_photos for making this possible. Last but not least, a special shout out to the ladies who made the day even better @dianakmir, @_modernfit, and @kelliecockrell.
