On the way home from Sedona we decided to stop at a magical little place called Salvation Mountain. For those of you who don’t know, Salvation Mountain was built by Leonard Knight as a message of love in the middle of nowhere desert California (Niland, CA to be exact). There are messages of love and God sprawled all throughout the man made mountains. It’s about a 3 hour drive from L.A. so I highly recommend stopping at this sight on the way out or back from a road trip. Although it’s an awesome place to visit, it’s not terribly big and would feel like a lengthy trip in comparison to the magnitude of the sight.
On the way home I opted for a cozy look that could work for an almost 10 hour drive. I’m obsessed with my Levi’s pin jacket and Teva Flatforms for the summer.
